Cupes land Maurice Lewis-Briggs, ex Al Ittisalat

Cupes de los Pepines (Santiago League) tabbed 29-year old American power forward Maurice Lewis-Briggs (203-109kg-90, college: Slippery Rock). He played recently at Al Ittisalat in Egyptian Superleague.
Among many awards Lewis-Briggs' team made it to the Georgian League Semifinals in 2017. He received also Eurobasket.com Georgian League All-Imports Team award back in 2016.
Lewis-Briggs is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Lewis-Briggs has played previously professionally in Canada (Moncton Magic), Italy, Luxembourg (T71 Dudelange and Black Star), United Kingdom (Cheshire Phoenix), Georgia (Rustavi and MIA), El Salvador (Isidro Metapan) and The Basketball Tournament (Illinois BC).
He attended Slippery Rock University until 2014 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
